Project Description

This project will replace the existing 24 foot wide by 76 foot long bridge on David Dubois Road over Commercial Canal in Iberia Parish in order to continue to support the transportation needs to support the Port of Iberia.

Issue Addressed

The existing bridge on David Duboin Road is a timber/precast structure that is in extremely poor condition and continues to deteriorate. Project needed to improve access to the Port of Iberia, as well as mitigate the damages caused by OCS activities.

Project Goals

This project replaced the existing structure with a new pre-cast concrete bridge structure capable of handling the immense amount of traffic that travels to and from the Port of Iberia.
