Lost Lake is located in Terrebonne Parish approximately twenty (20) miles southwest of Theroit, La. The project area is west of Lake Mechant and east of Four League Bayou.

Project Description

This coastal vegetative planting project was implemented to provide erosion control and habitat restoration in the Lost Lake area of southwestern Terrebonne Parish.

This project planted approximately 13,650 Smooth Cordgrass (Spartina alterniflora), a native coastal plant, along the shoreline of Lost Lake.
